You know all those family moments that you’ve captured on your phone or your Flip? The ones you like to share with friends and family on your Facebook page? Care.com wants to give parents and their nannies or babysitters the chance to win $1,000 or a chance to appear in an upcoming advertisement with those funny and heartwarming moments.

Care.com (http://www.care.com) the premier source of trustworthy family care options, including childcare, wants to see YOUR happy family moments. Care.com has launched the “Happy Family Moments” contest on the Care.com Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/caredotcom) to encourage parents and care providers to submit video shorts for a chance to win $1,000, and one winner will get the chance to appear in an upcoming Care.com advertisement!

It’s easy to participate in the contest: simply shoot a one-minute or less video capturing a happy family moment – something that you would share with a parent – and submit it on the contest page (http://www.facebook.com/caredotcom). Three finalists will win $1,000 each; among those, one will be selected to win the chance to appear in the next Care.com commercial. You must be 18 years old and registered on Facebook to participate.

Submissions will be accepted until Friday, November 5 and are limited to one per user. The three finalists will be announced on Monday, November 15, and their videos will be posted on the Care.com Facebook page for the public to vote on the best one!
