CRAFTSMAN® BIG SHOW-OFF CONTEST OFFERS FANS A CHANCE TO WIN 1,000,000 SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS POINTS

Fans can show off their DIY talents and enter their best Craftsman tool-inspired projects

Hoffman Estates, Ill. (Sept. 17, 2010) – America, now is your chance to be a big show-off and have a chance to get rewarded for it! The Sears Blue Tool Crew is recognizing thousands of loyal fans through the Craftsman Tools Big Show-Off Contest, where one lucky winner will be awarded 1,000,000 Shop Your Way Rewards points – equal to a $1,000 in Sears merchandise.

“The Sears Blue Tool Crew is all about empowering customers to complete creative projects by putting the right tools in their hands,” said Steve Light, president, Tools and Hardware for Sears Holdings. “Now we’re giving our customers the opportunity to showcase their creativity for a chance to be rewarded for their talent.”

To enter, customers can visit www.sears.com/bigshowoff and submit a photo of a project they completed along with an essay of 100 words or less describing how they used Craftsman tools to get the job done right. A panel of judges will select 10 finalists and America’s vote will decide which nominee will receive one million Shop Your Way Rewards points to help further advance their projects.

Entries will be accepted from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. Then from Oct. 18-31, eligible Americans can cast their votes for which fan is the biggest show-off. Official contest rules are available at www.sears.com/bigshowoff.
