Sometimes a picture can be worth a thousand words and even more Hilton HHonors points. Hilton HHonors, the loyalty program for Hilton Worldwide, is offering an once-in-a-lifetime trip aboard the National Geographic Endeavour or National Geographic Islander, to experience up close encounters with unique species through its “Stories Without Words” photo contest.

The Prize: One grand prize winner will receive a National Geographic Expedition 10-day trip for two to the Galapagos Islands, along with 1 million Hilton HHonors bonus points and $10,000 in spending money (approximate retail value $22,000). Five first place prize winners will also be awarded 250,000 Hilton HHonors bonus points, a Nikon Coolpix P500 camera and a copy of National Geographic’s Ultimate Field Guide to Photography (total retail value each of $750).

To Vote: Mid-December, 10 finalists’ photos will be posted at www.HHonors.com/PhotoStories, and the public will be invited to vote for the five first place winners.
