What’s your cat’s favorite pastime? Their biggest pet peeve? Surely these are just a couple of the questions you wish you could ask your cat. Well, with the help of famed animal communicator, Sonya Fitzpatrick you finally can!

Put Your Creative Juices To The Test With the “Hot Hawaiian® T-Shirt Design Contest”

Inspired By Unique, Original Artwork on Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips Packaging

MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ (May 2011)—The makers of Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips take great pride in the beautiful, original artwork on all of its packaging and now want to inspire consumers to create a new generation of art. From now through August 31, 2011, adult residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia are invited to submit an original design for a Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips t-shirt. The winning design will be made into a cool Hawaiian style t-shirt that people all over the country could be wearing!

“We want people to use the unique, colorful, tropical artwork that appears on the Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips packaging as inspiration for their own design,” says Terri Barberi, Brand Development Manager in the Specialty Foods Division of Pinnacle Foods Corp., marketers of the Hawaiian® brand. “What we’re looking for is original artwork that takes a nod from the designs we’ve created to bring the laid back feel and taste of Hawaii to life.”

From May 15, 2011 to August 31, 2011, entrants can submit an original t-shirt design by going to www.hawaiianbrandsnacks.com and clicking on the “Hot Hawaiian® T-Shirt Design Contest” banner. Read the Official Rules [http://www.hawaiianbrandsnacks.com/assets/pdf/OfficialRulesforTheHotHawaiianTShirtDesignContest.pdf], complete the entry form and upload a photo of your original design (make sure the photo is in one of the accepted formats listed on the entry page). The top six (6) entries, selected by a panel of judges from Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips based on originality, creativity, and adherence to a theme, will be posted on the website on or about September 15th until September 30th, during which time consumers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite design once per day, every day.

The winning design, as selected by the general public, will be featured on a t-shirt, which will be available online and in various marketing programs. In addition to bragging rights, the Grand Prize winner will also receive a three-day/two-night trip for two to Hawaii including airfare and hotel stay (ARV $3,100)! Five runners-up will each receive one of the following prizes: 1) discounts on surf boards, board shorts, and bathing suits from a major national retailer (ARV 20% discount); 2) a boogie board (ARV $50); 3) a one-year supply of Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips (ARV $165 or 52 bags).
