IRVINGTON, NY (April 2012) – Luden’s®, the leading throat drop brand that has soothed scratchy throats for over 130 years, is encouraging consumers to “Sing A Song” for Luden’s®. From March 30th – June 29, 2012 consumers of all ages are asked to submit a 30-60 second original jingle based on the theme, “Surprisingly Soothing. Simply Delicious!” The song should celebrate the love for this deliciously tasty iconic throat drop, known originally for its famous Wild Cherry Flavor.
To enter, just visit the Luden’s ® website, www.Ludens.com, click on the “La La Luden’s®” banner at the top of the page and upload the video of your original tune to the micro site. The jingle can be instrumental, acoustic, silly or fun—most importantly, we want to hear why you love Luden’s®. Your entry will be judged 50% on adherence to theme and 50% on creativity. The contest runs from 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on March 30st to 11:59 p.m. ET on June 29th (the “Contest Entry Period”). Limit one entry per household per day. Ten finalists will be selected by an independent panel of judges by July 16th for a “People’s Choice” vote and posted for voting from July 23-August 17, 2012. People will log onto www.Ludens.com and click on the La La Luden’s® banner to vote. One vote per person will be permitted daily.
One Grand Prize winner selected by “People’s Choice Vote” will have their jingle featured on the Luden’s® website, win a cash prize of $2,500, receive tickets to be a member of the studio audience of one of America’s top talent search shows, and receive a year’s supply of assorted Luden’s® products. The remaining 9 finalists will receive $100 American Express Gift Cards and assorted Luden’s® products.
